Our vision is to improve the way residential real estate is developed while enhancing the quality of life in Columbia County.

For what seems like forever, residential development has occurred in a hodgepodge manner, almost by chance. More often than not, building lots have ended up splattered over treeless fields, with a wide blacktop town road snaking through rows of homes. The result is visually sterile, offers little privacy, and creates a silent disaster for birds and wildlife with acres and acres of pristine chemically dependent lawns, no nesting habitat, etc. Hardly the best approach.

But there is good news too. The market is changing and the premium home buyer has a new set of needs and preferences over the 1950’s style subdivision that is still so much in evidence. This new homeowner wants shade from a mature tree over his backyard deck in the evening and visual privacy with a view of their own meadow. They like to have neighbors nearby down the lane and want to enjoy country living amenities like a swim in a pristine pond, or a walk or run on a wooded trail.
